How does it work?
All living cells have the ability to absorb light energy and use it to stimulate or regulate cell renewal. Cell renewal declines as we get older which leads to dull skin more prone to fine lines and wrinkles. Dermalux® Flex uses a combination of clinically proven blue, red and near- infrared wavelengths to reduce the visible signs of ageing, pigmentation and environmental damage as well as inflammatory conditions such as Acne, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Eczema.
Wavelength selection is important as it determines how effectively the light is absorbed. Dermalux® systems only use the three most clinically proven wavelengths and exclusively the option to deliver all three at one time.
- Red Light (633nm) accelerates cell renewal and repair, boosts collagen and elastin production for smoother, firmer looking skin with added luminosity.
- Blue Light (415nm) is blemish fighting and calming for problem skin, restoring clarity without irritation

History of LED Phototherapy

I have been coming to Alison for several years now for facials and despite having had facials at a few other places over the years, they are never as good! Alison is very talented! Not only is she knowledgeable and my skin is glowing after but I always feel so recharged too.
