All products are cruelty free and many are organic and vegan. The Chinese Five Elements
Elemental Herbology looks for harmony in the skin and body by aligning the Five Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water.
Wood is aligned to Spring which is a time of growth and regeneration and the skin in this element tends to be normal to combination. The Balance range evens out oil production and replenishes moisture levels while protecting from environmental factors. Active ingredients within this range include Kakadu Plum (highest source of vitamin C), Sepitonic and pearl extract. The Wood Rejuvenation bath and body oil relieves aches and pains and helps clear the mind.
Fire is aligned to Summer and symbolises warmth and energy. When the fire element is unbalanced the skin becomes excessively oily and congested. The oil control range is recommended to cool, soothe and balance using actives of Tea Tree and Aloe Vera. Fire Zest body & bath oil is recommended to promote a feeling of euphoria and increase energy levels.
Earth is aligned to late Summer and any skin type can benefit from this brightening Radiance and Vitality range. The products will transform a dull skin by refining and brightening with natural actives and vitamins including Kombuchka (fermented tea),Green Tea and natural AHA's. The Earth Balance bath & Body oil helps reduce stress and restore equilibrium.
Metal is aligned to Autumn, a time to boost reserves which makes it ideal for skin in need of extra nourishment. The Age Support range uses patented actives such as Lanablue, liftonin and Hematite to target the physiological signs of ageing. Boosting the defence of the skin, increasing radiance and plumping fine lines and wrinkles. The Metal Detox body & bath oil helps a sluggish body by stimulating the Lymph system and Circulation.
Water is aligned to Winter, a time to nurture and support the skin. The Moisture Replenish range provides nourishment and hydration for dry and dehydrated skins. Natural botanicals including Inca Inci, Argan oil and collagen give moisture that lasts. The Water Soothe bath & body oil helps remove stress and tension promoting a feeling of clarity and wellbeing.
